Tango Turns & Linking Steps (Int. Level) Tango turn is the 'nuts n bolts of the tango structure. Once we understand the structure, we will concentrate on how to use the turns to link the dance. Topics include navigation, ocho cortado, pivot ochos, sweet rhythmic turn steps, and more! This class will prepare you with all the skills you need to become a confident dancer on the social dance floor!!! Mastering Social Tango Turns (Int./ Adv. Level)
This 8‑week series focuses on turning with clarity, control, and
ease in real social dance conditions. We’ll refine technique,
axis, and rotation to create turns that feel effortless for both
leader and follower, remain musical, and navigate comfortably on
a crowded floor. Beyond figures, the class emphasizes
transferable principles on how to generate flow, manage space,
and adapt your turning vocabulary to different partners and
orchestras. The goal is to make your dancing feel confident,
elegant, and unmistakably social.

Tango Vocabulary & Linking Steps (Beg. 2 Level) In this this class series, we will concentrate on understanding the different tango vocabulary. Each week Tony and Ilana will introduce a basic understanding of different tango vocabulary and show you how to link them to form a dance and have fun on the social dance floor. Tango: Boleo Sequences (Int./ Adv. Level)
Boleos (or voleos) are dynamic, expressive movements in tango
where the free leg whips around the supporting leg in a fluid,
swiveling motion. They’re not only beautiful and satisfying to
execute, they’re also a stylish way to transition and change
direction in your dance. In this 8-week series, we’ll explore a
wide range of boleo topics, including: front & rear boleos, high
& low boleos, linear boelos, leader's boleos, boelo figures...
