Absolute Beginner's Tango Class (Beg. Level) Learn to dance the authentic Argentine tango in a fun and easy way! No partners required. No dance experience necessary. This is the class for you, if you: - Are an absolute beginner excited to learn the Argentine tango. - Have taken tango classes before but like to review the materials. - Have two left feet & have never danced before, - Or just want to have fun and meet people! Rhythmic Tango Sequences (Int./ Adv. Level) Tony & Ilana invite you to explore a collection of dynamic, musical tango sequences designed for the social dance floor. In this class, we’ll dive into double-time rhythms, syncopations, and musical phrasing, helping you interpret the energy of rhythmic orchestras with confidence and creativity. Beyond the steps, we’ll focus on essential skills such as smooth navigation in crowded milongas and cultivating the connection and subtlety of close-embrace tango.

Tango Turns & Linking Steps (Int. Level) Tango turn is the 'nuts n bolts of the tango structure. Once we understand the structure, we will concentrate on how to use the turns to link the dance. Topics include navigation, ocho cortado, pivot ochos, sweet rhythmic turn steps, and more! Tango: Sacada Sequences (Int./ Adv. Level)
Sacada refers to the
displacement of a partner’s step or position in tango. While
sacadas create striking, elegant visuals, they’re just as
enjoyable to dance and surprisingly intuitive to learn. From
walking sacadas and rear sacadas to high sacadas, follower’s
sacadas, continuous sacadas, and sacadas within turns, the
possibilities are endless. Join us to discover the
versatility, technique, and excitement of sacadas—and bring
a new dimension to your tango.
