9:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Hiking & Swimming at Goat Lake

Come join us for a moderate hike with low elevation gain (10.4 miles/ 1,919 ft elevation gain) to a trail 2 hours drive north of Seattle.  Goat lake is a popular glacial lake located in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. This is an awesome summer hike jam packed with old growth forest, rushing creek, waterfalls and a large glacier lake as a reward surrounded by snowy peak! Plan to bring your swimming suit! Don't miss the opportunity to swim in a beautiful and pristine alpine lake!

We will meet at the Goat Lake Trailhead at 9:30AM. The trailhead has a medium size parking lot. This is a popular trail, plan to give yourself enough time to find parking.

The Goat Lake Trailhead parking area requires a Northwest Forest Pass to park at the parking lot.

Please e-mail us if you are planning on joining- for directions, coordination details, and last-minute changes due to weather conditions!
