Hiking Ptarmigan Ridge Trail
Come join us for a challenging (but rewarding) hike (11.8 miles/
2,814 ft elevation gain) to a Mount Baker trail 2.5 hours drive
north of Seattle. This is an approach trail for Camp Kiser and
the East Portal, access for the Park Glacier climbing route up
Mount Baker. We are not summiting Baker, but this trail offers a
stunning close-up view of the east side of Mount Baker.
We will meet at the
Artist Point parking lot
by the Ptarmigan Ridge trailhead at 10:00AM. This is a popular
trail, plan to give yourself enough time to find parking.
Parking pass/ entry fee:
Northwest Forest Pass
